ROLE DESCRIPTION:
As an Insurance Sales & Service Representative, you will play a key role in growing our agency by generating and closing new sales while providing top-tier service to existing clients. This hybrid sales/service position requires strong interpersonal skills, insurance knowledge, and a proactive mindset. You’ll handle inbound leads, outbound prospecting, policy quoting, renewals, account reviews, and cross-selling opportunities—all while ensuring clients feel supported and valued.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Prospect for new business through referrals, networking, leads, cold outreach, and community involvement to meet or exceed sales goals.
• Conduct needs analyses with prospects and clients to recommend appropriate coverage options (personal lines, commercial, life, etc.).
• Prepare and present accurate insurance quotes, explain policy features/benefits/coverage gaps, and close sales.
• Service existing accounts 
• Cross-sell and upsell additional coverages during service interactions and annual reviews to increase client retention and agency revenue.
• Maintain detailed client records in our agency management system 
• Respond promptly to client inquiries via phone, email, text, and in-person meetings.
• Build and nurture strong, trust-based relationships to generate referrals and achieve high client satisfaction.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Active Louisiana Property & Casualty (P&C) license required (Life & Health a plus).
• 1–3+ years of experience in insurance sales, customer service, or a related role preferred (will consider motivated entry-level candidates with strong sales aptitude and a willingness to learn).
• Proven track record of meeting sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, organized, and detail-oriented with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Compensation: $54,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
